Spyware Terminator can be set to scan & update automatically
Here's how: Open Spyware Terminator select the "Settings" Tab, select
"Scheduler Settings", then select "Update Settings" making the desired
choices always clicking "Save Changes" or your choices will not be
remembered.
Open program by double clicking on the Desktop icon. Click the "Run Cleaner" button, wait for the list to fill and then click the X in the top right corner.
Using the CCleaner's Registry Cleaner:
Click the "Registry" Tab on the left > the right pane changes >
"Scan for Issues" > Status bar reaches 100% the "Fix selected
Issues" button is active click that, a dialog box opens and asked where
to save it go to My Documents make a folder called "My Downloads" with
a new folder called "ccleaner" and save the backups in this folder.
Close program and your done.
CCleaner can be set to run automatically
Here's how: Open ccleaner in the left hand column, select "Options", in
the big window high-light "Settings". Then put a check in the "Run
CCleaner when computers starts" & "Automatically check for updates
for ccleaner" boxes.
Click
"Start" double-click "My Computer" hover your mouse over the "C:\"
drive and right-click select "Properties" Select the "Tools" tab,
select "De-fragment Now", then "De-fragment" the process starts. Do not
restart the computer or install any programs, you should not do
anything while defraging, turn off your screen saver and your "Power
Settings" while this process is running. You can stop your screen saver
and power settings by right-clicking on the Desktop and selecting
"Properties" then the "Screen Saver" tab. Select "None" for the
Screen-saver and then click "Power" and select "None" or "Always On"
for Desktop computers. For laptop computers you should only change the
"While Powered On" section.

To upgrade to the latest version of the browser, go to the Internet Explorer Downloads website.
If you prefer to use a different web browser, you can obtain updates from the Microsoft Download Center
or you can stay up to date with the latest critical and security updates by using Automatic
Updates. To turn on Automatic Updates:
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Depending on which Control Panel view you use, Classic or Category, do one of the following:
* Click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
* Click Performance and Maintenance, click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
3. Click the option that you want. Make sure Automatic Updates is not turned off.

Adobe Acrobat Reader Update; up to v.9.0
When your Adobe Acrobat Reader program is open and you notice an "Update" button in the top right corner of the open window. Click the button, you will be taken to Adobe Acrobat's website. Click the "Download Now" button. Depending on your modem speed time will vary. Click Install Now when asked > Install > Finish. Your done!
It is very important to update any and all of your Microsoft software. i.e. "Word", "Excel"...
1. Open Word or Excel Choose Help.
2. Choose Office on the Web. Make sure Internet Explorer is set as default web browser or this will not work.
3. Choose Check for Free Updates (in the upper right hand corner)
4. Under Downloads section choose Office Updates
5. Choose Options in the new dialog box you will see an Options hyper-link click that
6. Choose Use larger update files that should not require access to my product CD or Network installation location
7. Choose Save
8. Choose Agree & Install > then Finish. You may need to restart your computer if it ask. Click Here for update page. (Make sure you are using IE or this may not work)
Repeat these steps until there are no more updates...
